100th Anniversary
of a company - Neuchâtel

A two-day celebration for approximately 800 employees and their families, held at an event venue on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel.

TAK TAK TAK was tasked with creating and running a participatory space that would be open all day long, as part of a deliberately open-ended program featuring talks, food, live music, and family-friendly activities.

Company Anniversary—100 Years

~800 guests over two days
Employees + families
Continuous activities
Adults + children
Setup and supervision included

Activation is available all day long.

Guests gradually arrived at the venue and then moved freely among the various dining areas, bars, shaded areas, music, and the program’s various highlights.

The TAK TAK TAK zone remained accessible at all times.

No set schedule, no group start, and no obligation to participate.

Families could join in the activities whenever they wanted, play for a few minutes or stay longer, and then naturally go about their day.

The area before the guests arrive

Designed for families, not just for children.

The goal was not to create a separate space just for children.

The activities were chosen to allow children, parents, and colleagues to participate together.

Over the course of the day, we observed that about 60% of the users in the area were children and 40% were adults.

This allowed families to truly enjoy the event together, while giving the children something to explore during the various more informal moments of the day.

A family activity that doesn't turn parents into full-time chaperones.

A natural complement to a deliberately open program.

The anniversary celebration featured a mix of speeches, live music, food, cocktails, and moments of relaxation in the garden.

Between these various highlights, there were no activities to impose an additional pace on the guests.

TAK TAK TAK happened to fill that space:

something to do whenever we felt like it, without interrupting conversations, meals, or family time.

Activities could begin and end naturally throughout the day.

A setup tailored to the guests' actual pace.

The event took place during a heat wave.

The organizers had set up numerous water stations, shaded areas, and plenty of places to sit under the trees or near covered areas.

The TAK TAK TAK area was therefore designed to operate in the same spirit: open, accessible, and suited to an event where guests are constantly on the move.

TAK TAK TAK handled all aspects of setup, operation, and takedown over the two days.

A jubilee where families could truly enjoy the moment together.

TAK TAK TAK added an element of ongoing participation to the program without imposing any constraints or turning the day into a forced activity.
